THE Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People's Court yesterday upheld sentences of from three to 12 years for four gang members who robbed old people of their jewelry.
From March to July last year, the gang targeted old people and robbed 17 victims of 11 gold rings, two gold necklaces and five gold bracelets across a variety of districts. The victims were aged 75 on average. After stealing the jewelry, the gang members escaped by bicycle.
