Bank card scam used casino data
SHANGHAI police said yesterday they had cracked a bank-card scam ring in China and Myanmar with 15 suspects detained.
The suspects copied the victims' information in casinos at the border of China and Myanmar and forged cards in Guangzhou. Over 500 victims have been affected since May, involving nearly 10 million yuan (US$1.6 million).
