Black tea performance
EXPO visitors can taste a cup of Heicha, the dark tea of Hunan Province, from today in China's joint provincial pavilion.
Three female artists will perform the tea ceremony by plucking the leaf from a tea brick, warming the pot and cups, and brewing the leaves for 20-minutes.
Heicha tea originated in Anhua County in the Song Dynasty (960-1279) and was known as the "mysterious Chinese tea" among traders of the Silk Road.
