ALMOST all the information on the Website of Shanghai government, www.shanghai.gov.cn, will be accessible to blind people, including the English edition, officials said yesterday. "Screen reader" software can identify and interpret what is being displayed on the screen and turn it into sounds. The Websites of Shanghai Civil Affairs Bureau, Shanghai Justice Bureau and Shanghai Human Resources and Social Security Bureau have the same capability.
