Boy, 15, leaps to death

A FIFTEEN-YEAR-OLD boy jumped to his death from his home in downtown Jing'an District yesterday morning, today's Shanghai Morning Post reported.

His parents rushed to the ground shortly after the boy's fall around 6am, neighbors said. The high school student might have committed suicide because of the pressures of study at boarding school, the report said.

Police are investigating.
