Brunei celebrates eco-future plans

BRUNEI Darussalam Pavilion in Zone B celebrates its National Pavilion Day today with a traditional wedding performance.

With the theme of "Now... For the Future," the pavilion displays its education, diversified economy and environmental protection practices.

Its overall design concept binds Brunei's rich heritage and ambition with its traditional way of life.

One of Brunei Darussalam's exclusive heritages is the preservation of its pristine nature and rainforests.

The pavilion's external design and entrance feature rainforests, demonstrating that the natural environment gets protected regardless of the fast pace of development it experiences.

The pavilion's cylindrical display racks represent eight strategic plans for the country's development.

Its rotating structure tells visitors that the country preserves sound natural environment and traditional culture.

Also, visitors can enjoy local delicacies and unique Bruneian hand-weavings as they exit the pavilion.
