Bus crash severs power

A city public bus crashed and broke an electricity pole yesterday on Yixian Road, causing a blackout to nearby neighborhoods. Witnesses said the bus driver hit the pole alongside the road as the bus tried to dodge a child crossing the road about 10am. No one was injured in the accident, police said. The power supply was back on about 4:25pm yesterday.
