A No. 909 bus last night hit barriers between the vehicle lanes and the bicycle lane, leaving five to six passengers requiring hospital treatment. The bus driver had tried to avoid a moped, but was unable to control the vehicle in wet and slippery conditions and plowed into the barrier, said witnesses.
