Car plates lost in flood await owners

VEHICLES owners who found their car plates missing last Friday can try their luck at the Minhang District traffic police station as several plates there have not been claimed yet.
According to Minhang traffic police, when vehicles drove down the exit ramp of Outer Ring Road near Wuzhong Road on Friday, some of their car plates were washed off in knee-deep floodwater there.
Those who happened to be driving through water there and lost their car plates can dial 6489-1462 and ask an officer surnamed Shen for assistance.
To pick up their plates, the owners should bring their ID cards and driving licenses to the Highway S4 toll station at Zhuanqiao Road.
