Card hacker
A man has been detained by police for allegedly stealing 24,000 yuan (US$3,707) by hacking into people's payment cards accounts. Lin Yumin, 24, bought 10,000 e-mail accounts with passwords from an illegal data provider and searched for potential payment card accounts among the e-mails, which the users might use for registration, police said. Lin finally hacked into one victim's payment card account, with 24,000 points in it - one point equals one yuan, cashed them and used the card to buy other commodities to sell on.
