CONSUMER complaints about car-related problems topped other issues in Shanghai last year and continued rising fast, officials said. The Shanghai Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision said yesterday that it received 339 car-related complaints in 2012 via its 12365 hotline, around a third of the total and more than doubling from 2011. Of them, 135 complaints were about economy car models with a price tag of between 100,000 yuan (US$16,090) and 150,000 yuan.
