Cash services lead to prison
TWO people have been jailed for using a point of sale machine to give credit card holders cash, the Pudong New Area People's Court said yesterday.
The offenders, surnamed Xu and Huo, set up a store early this year and illegally cashed more than 1.16 million yuan (US$170,290), earning 10,000 yuan in handling fees in just two months. They were sentenced to eight and nine months in prison and fined 10,000 yuan.
