Cement truck driver killed as vehicle collides with bus

One person was killed and two others were injured when a bus and cement truck collided at the intersection of Cheting Road and Xinjian Road in Jinshan District this morning, according to the district government.

A Shanghai Nanyang Cable Co shuttle bus veered into the opposing lane and crashed into an oncoming cement truck, xinmin.cn reported.

More than 40 passengers were on the bus at the time. The driver of the cement truck died and two other men were injured in the head-on collision.

Traffic police said they are investigating the accident.
