City Gets Own Internet Troops
SHANGHAI police yesterday have enlisted a total of 105 people to work as the city's first batch of Internet commentators, consultants and supervisors.
The team is made up of the city's Internet industry elite, professionals of online information security, workers at net cafes and common netizens.
Consultants will give suggestions to improve the city's online services. Supervisors will monitor the Internet and report anything illegal, such as pornography, to police.
