City getting better
LOCALS are most annoyed by the environment near wet markets and rivers, and illegal street stalls draw big complaints, the Shanghai Greenery and Public Sanitation Bureau said yesterday. The districts of Jing'an, Xuhui and Huangpu top the list of the most satisfied environments, while the satisfaction rate of Changning, Hongkou and Yangpu districts' environments dropped, according to the bureau's satisfaction assessment results of the first six months this year. About 90 percent of the people surveyed thought that the city's environment has improved.
