City hosts world conference on entrepreneurship

THE Global Entrepreneurship Congress was held in Shanghai today, attended by nearly 1,000 entrepreneurs, investors and scholars from home and abroad.
Li Kaifu, the former Google China president, and other business tycoons shared their business start-up experiences with college graduates in today's conference.
A website to promote entrepreneurship among college graduates and a training base for students who want to start up their own business were also launched on the occasion.
This is the first time for the event to be held in China. Its two previous conferences were held in Kansas City of the USA and Dubai of the UAE.
The Kauffman Foundation and Shanghai Technology Entrepreneurship Foundation for Graduates co-hosted today's conference.
