City names new publicity chief

XU Lin, former Party secretary of the Pudong New Area, was appointed head of the Publicity Department of the Communist Party of China Shanghai Committee, the CPC Shanghai committee announced yesterday.
Xu, a 50-year-old Shanghai native with a postgraduate degree in business administration, had been the Party chief of Pudong since February 28, 2008.
