THE People's Bank of China will issue another two sets of the 2010 2010 Shanghai World Expo coins next year, and China Post will issue two Expo stamps before and during the Expo, the Expo organizer said yesterday.
Meanwhile, Expo management is recruiting retailers to sell licensed souvenirs at the Expo site.
Businesses registered in China with at least 500,000 yuan in registered assets (US$73,225) can apply, the organizer said.
They can open a shop of 80 to 180 square meters at eight areas around at the Expo site. The rent is about 25 yuan per square meter per month.
Also yesterday, registration started for reporters wishing to cover the Expo, a bulletin on the official Website said.
Chinese reporters who are registering to cover the Expo must hold press cards issued by the General Administration of Press and Publication.
