Collectors line up for stamps
A SET of five World Expo stamps went on sale yesterday morning, with many stamp collectors queuing outside city post offices overnight to snap up the coveted commemoratives.
The stamps, depicting the Expo Center, China Pavilion, Performance Center, Theme Pavilion and Expo Boulevard, will be sold at post offices across China for the next six months.
About 8pm on Wednesday, an 80-year-old man came to queue outside the post office near the Shanghai Post Museum in Hongkou District to buy the Expo stamps there first.
