THE family of the only victim of the building collapse in Minhang District has sealed a 775,000 yuan (US$113,4236) compensation deal with the Meilong Aluminum Alloy Decoration Co, the man's former employer.
The father of the dead migrant worker from Anhui Province said the decorating company his late son Xiao Dekun worked for had offered 775,000 yuan in compensation. He said the family agreed and has signed the deal, reported Beijing Times.
The family came to Shanghai after the 13-floor building toppled over on June 27, killing the worker.
