Cops bust transvestite

A SOUTHEAST Asian man was caught by police in the middle of giving an illegal transvestite performance, the Shanghai Exit-Entry Administration Bureau said yesterday.
The 28-year-old man knew the performances were illegal in the country, said the police. And he did not have any permit to work in the city. He was fined 1,000 yuan (US$146). His stay in the country was shortened and he was blacklisted as forbidden entrant. Police didn't release his name or his country of origin. The performance venue at Kongjiang Road in Yangpu District was fined 6,000 yuan for hiring the man for illegal performances, said the police.
