Crash floods street

WATER jetted into the air after a truck knocked off a fire hydrant on Xuhong Road N. yesterday, flooding the road and snarling traffic for about 40 minutes, police said. The accident happened about 9am when an express delivery truck crashed into the fire hydrant on the road. Water spurted 8 meters high and hit the overhead wires and cables. Fire fighters closed the valve about 9:40am and traffic was restored.
