LI Lianfeng, a 20-year-old Shandong Province native, was sentenced to death while fellow villager Chen Xuequan, 21, got life imprisonment over the robbery of motorcycle riders, killing one and injuring two, the Shanghai No. 2 Intermediate People's Court ruled yesterday.
From August 27 to 29 last year, the pair booked motorcycle taxis, stabbed the riders when they arrived, and drove off on their bikes.
