Disney acts to recruit graduates
SHANGHAI Disney Resort yesterday launched an education program at 10 city universities and colleges and neighboring provinces to train and attract undergraduates to join the resort.
The resort signed an agreement with Shanghai Polytechnic University yesterday as one of the first batch of cooperative universities.
Others include Shanghai Sanda University, Shanghai Jianqiao University, Zhengzhou Tourism College in Henan Province and the Tourism College of Zhejiang.
“I believe by working with the global industry leader, Disney, we can help enhance our professional education and benefit the entire local tourism industry,” said Yu Tao, president of Shanghai Polytechnic University.
The resort will open the Shanghai Disney Resort Talent Class at these universities with some 30 students in each class.
