XU Yibo, former Party secretary of Luwan District, was named as the Party head of the new Huangpu District yesterday. The merger of former Luwan District and Huangpu District was approved on June 8. The two vice Party secretaries are: Zhou Wei, the governor of Huangpu District before the merger, and Sun Ganlin, director of the Huangpu District Publicity Department before the merger.
