A MIGRANT worker who tried to kill his roommate and set their dorm room on fire after the man accidentally cut his leg was yesterday sentenced to five years in prison. Yu Quansheng, 22, a Hunan Province native, lived with the victim, surnamed Zhong, in a work dormitory. They were drinking alcohol one day in June when Zhong accidentally smashed a bottle and shards cut Yu's leg. When they couldn't reach an agreement on compensation, Yu decided to take revenge, the Minhang District People's Court heard.
