Driver flees deadly crash

A WOMAN driving a BMW fled the scene after she killed a moped rider in a head-on crash in Pudong early this morning.

Police are hunting the car's owner after she killed 57-year-old Lin Dongchu, from Zhejiang Province, Eastday.com reported today.

Witnesses said after hitting the moped at the corner of Hunan Road and Wuxing Road, she crossed the central line and crashed into two cars while driving in the wrong lane. The driver finally stopped a kilometer away, the report said. She then locked the car and ran away before police arrived.
