Earth-Moving Truck Hits Woman

A woman was injured by an earth-moving truck in the Pudong New Area yesterday. The accident happened about 3pm at the intersection of Zhangyang Road N. and Donggao Road.
The truck knocked down a woman cyclist beside it when it turned right at a fast speed, witness said. The woman, aged over 40, suffered severe injuries to her legs after the truck ran over her. She was rushed to the hospital and received surgery last night. Whether her legs can be saved is still unknown, doctors said yesterday.
