Elderly man dies in pet dispute

A SENIOR man died yesterday during a dispute between neighbors inside a residential building on Linfen Road, Zhabei District.
Police have intervened in the case and an autopsy is under way to determine the cause of death. The victim, surnamed Ni, in his 70s, argued with his neighbor who allowed his dog to urinate in a public hallway yesterday morning. Relatives from both sides got involved and it eventually became physical. Ni suddenly collapsed. He was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
