Experts promote Hangzhou at Expo

Experts from Hangzhou's museums and the governing body of Xixi Wetlands promoted the city and its West Lake International Expo yesterday in front of media at the Hangzhou Pavilion in the Urban Best Practices Area.
Huang Feng, deputy director of the Organising Committee of the West Lake International Expo and deputy director of the Hangzhou Pavilion, talked about the highlights and achievements of the pavilion. He also promoted the West Lake International Expo.
Experts from Hangzhou also shared their views on environmental protection and flood control in places such as Hangzhou's Qiantang River, the Hangzhou Bay, the canals, the West Lake and Xixi Wetlands.
They also discussed scientific approaches to control pollution and explain the glamour of Hangzhou's "five waters": the West Lake, Qiantang River, canals, Xixi Wetlands and Hangzhou Bay.
