Expo offers platform for innovation matchmaking

The Inno-Match Expo will kick off at the Shanghai Exhibition Center on October 28. The three-day fair including both an exhibition and summits will focus on global technology transfer.

The exhibition will allow Chinese enterprises to share their innovation needs, and partners from around the world will come to meet their demands.

More than 10,000 demands are waiting to be met, and 500 innovations from small-to-medium-sized enterprises are waiting to be turned into products for the market.

The exhibition will cover an area of 8,000 square meters, divided into four zones.

The Tech Top Zone demonstrates several of China’s great scientific and technological achievements, as well as Shanghai’s achievements from the 13th Five-Year Plan period (2016-20).

The Tech Need Zone gathers open innovation platforms of five industrial giants including Fosun, SAIC Motor and United Imaging. Over 5,000 innovation demands and hundreds of solutions will be released online.

The Tech New Zone displays innovative products from small- and medium-sized companies and over 50 innovation achievements from universities and institutions.

The Tech World Zone will exhibit innovation achievements across the world.

The Serbian Pavilion focuses on Sino-Serbian cooperation projects; the Japan Pavilion shows the country’s advantages in artificial intelligence and smart manufacturing; the Israel Pavilion is built in cooperation with Taopu Smart City in Shanghai; South Korea will show its innovation fruits from Gwangju and Sungkyunkwan universities; and the European Pavilion demonstrates innovation capacity from France, the UK, Germany, Denmark, Holland, Belgium and other countries.

China’s Shaanxi Province, Yunnan Province and Yangtze River Delta region will also demonstrate their advantageous industries, development potential and demands.

The expo also invites scholars, officials and experts to share their opinions about cutting-edge technologies, innovation trends and industrial development in several summits.
