Expo pandas say hello to Shanghainese

THE 10 Expo pandas will make their public debut at 2pm tomorrow at the Shanghai Zoo.
Arriving about a week ago from Sichuan Province, the furry residents have adapted to their new home.
The food didn't suit the pandas at first and they only ate 10 kilograms of bamboo each and a few steamed buns. Now they have grown a good appetite, eating 15 to 20 kilograms of bamboo every day.
The pandas play with a sliding board and climb trees every day at the zoo. "They play like kids and they're always changing their toys. Currently the tree is their favorite," said a zookeeper surnamed Li.
