Expo reveals premium move
THE Shanghai 2010 World Expo organizer will provide insurance for the exhibits from participant countries during the 2010 event.
This would be a first in World Expo history, a senior official of China's top insurance regulator told a forum in Shanghai yesterday. The organizer would also add insurance clauses according to the requirements of participant countries, Zhou Yanli, vice chairman of the China Insurance Regulatory Commission, said at the International Insurance Forum for Expo 2010. Premium coverage will span a wide area, including casualty insurance for Expo staff members.
