OVER 20,000 job seekers, mostly the World Expo workers and volunteers, applied for about 1,300 job offerings from the state-owned companies represented at the Shanghai Corporate Pavilion during the 6-month World Expo.

The pavilion said today the application deadline is due on Monday. The 36 state-owned companies that jointly built the pavilion offered 1,296 positions involving various jobs at different levels. They made the offer in appreciation of the Expo workers and volunteers for their contributions to the World Expo 2010.
