Factory fire injures 9 workers in suburbs

Nine people were injured in a factory fire in Shanghai's suburban Fengxian District this morning.
The fire broke out at about 9:28am in a factory building of Shanghai Intco Company and was put out about an hour later, the fire department said.
The injured workers have been sent to the hospital for treatment and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
The company, a subsidiary of Shangdong Intco Recycling Resources Co, specializes in the production of faux-wood polymer molding and picture frames.
The company mainly uses recycled polystyrene polymer as the raw material for production, according to the company's website. The material is highly inflammable.
