AN elderly woman who has Alzheimer's disease and lost her way was finally reunited with her family over the weekend, thanks to help from local residents, police and thousands of netizens who forwarded an appeal microblog.
The 65-year-old Liaoning Province native, surnamed Li, was spotted by a local netizen who posted a photograph of her eating in the street on Sina weibo on Thursday. Police received phone calls over the weekend and then they tracked down the woman's family, based on her name, the only information that she could remember.
