Fine and sunny for Qingming Festival
THIS weekend's Qingming Festival, China's traditional tomb-sweeping festival, will be an ideal spring outing with no showers forecast for the three-day holiday.
Skies will be clear from today and last through the holiday, apart from light drizzle in parts of the city on Sunday, although it shouldn't affect outings, weathermen said today.
The temperatures will range from 7 degrees Celsius to 15 degrees.
Heavy rains hit the city yesterday, with Chongming County seeing the biggest rainfall of 22.2 mm. It was followed by Jiading and Baoshan districts, according to Shanghai Meteorological Bureau.
