Food poisoning alert
RESTAURANTS at the Expo site have stopped wrapping up leftovers for customers to take away to avoid food poisoning in hot weather.
The Shanghai food safety authority is advising visitors not to order too much food at restaurants in the Expo site and also to check that food they have brought with them hasn't gone bad in the heat.
It advises not keeping food in a bag for more than half a day and not letting it be exposed to the sun. Anyone bringing fruit should not peel it beforehand.
