A FOREIGN girl has been raped by a man she met online in Shanghai. A man from southern Asia has been detained and Luwan District police are investigating, today's Shanghai Evening News reported.
The police didn't name the victim or suspect. The girl from east Asia got to know the man online in December last year, according to police.
They met on December 9 this year at a bar in Xintiandi. The man allegedly lured her to his apartment on Xietu Road and raped her.
