Fresh-faced actress sues hospital over claims

"FOREVER young" Hong Kong actress Angie Chiu claims a cosmetic surgery hospital used her name and image without permission, Jing'an District People's Court heard yesterday.
Chiu, a 57-year-old mother of three renowned for her youthful looks, has been a brand ambassador for cosmetics companies over the past few years.
In April, Chiu found the Nanjing Comei Aesthetic Hospital in Nanjing City was using her image and articles to promote a beauty product.
Chiu demanded compensation of 1.5 million yuan (US$236,150) and asked the hospital to apologize.The court didn't announce a verdict yesterday, due to the absence of the hospital.
