SHANGHAI Fudan University said a young man who stabbed a female student repeatedly yesterday morning is its student and he has a mental problem.
The school had asked his parents to take him to a mental hospital after several rounds of psychological counseling on campus failed, it said. The woman sustained wounds to her face, hands and legs. Police said the attack was likely triggered by their broken relationship.
