SHANGHAI Fudan Microelectronics will offer microcontroller units for the automotive industry in the chip designer’s latest business expansion after listing on the Shanghai STAR Market in August.
The company, whose biggest shareholder is Fudan University, has sold 500 million MCUs up, making it No. 1 in the domestic market.
The automotive industry is a booming market with its trend of autonomous and electric driving. MCUs cover microcontrollers for digital keys, air conditioning, steering and seat transfer in cars, making vehicles more intelligent and safe.
