A FOUR-MEMBER gang of thieves was detained for allegedly stealing goods from cars across the city, Hongkou District police said yesterday.
Police found 70,000 yuan (US$10,251) cash, cell phones and laptops in the gang's apartment. The gang usually broke the car windows and robbed the things inside, police said.
