A SECURITY guard was killed and three people injured in a gas explosion in a residential building in Songjiang District at 6:01am.
The explosion was in a room on the first floor of the residential building in Nanqichang Road of Songjiang New Town. The room had been rented for storage, according to an Eastday.com report
Eighteen neighboring houses suffered damage to doors, windows and furniture.
There was no one in the room at the time.
