HUNDREDS of households were without gas yesterday morning on Siping Road near the boundary of Hongkou and Yangpu districts, authorities said.
A gas pipe was flooded as the area's drainage system was not well constructed, a gas service official surnamed Cheng said. The gas supply was restored by 2:30pm.
