THE city bus operator said yesterday it is conducting checks on capacitor buses to ensure safety after a No. 825 bus caught fire in downtown area on Monday.
All capacitor buses have been taken out of service until an investigation is complete.
The operator admitted there are teething problems with some of the new buses.
