Group buy website to sue Dairy Queen

MEITUAN.COM, one of the most popular group purchase websites in the country, said it would refund people who had booked the Dairy Queen ice cream coupon with 50 yuan (US$7) each and the money would be paid to their accounts.
The website promoted the package on Monday, saying buyers would get a DQ coupon valued at 50 yuan for only 29 yuan. But the US-based ice cream chain store said it never cooperated with Meituan to launch a group purchase activity.
In its announcement yesterday, DQ said the contract Meituan claimed to have signed with it was fake and invalid.
Meituan said it would take legal action against DQ to solve the problem.
