Haibao's Comic Turn
THE first batch of about 50 comic books about Haibao, the mascot of the Shanghai 2010 World Expo, will be available next March - with plenty of tales in foreign languages.
"The comic books will describe Haibao's continuing adventures with his friends in Shanghai just like the carton series," said Miao Wei, director of the editorial department of China Children's Press and Publication Group.
The group has won the right to publish the Haibao comics.
