Hangzhou Pavilion greets 500,000th visitor

The Hangzhou Pavilion at the Urban Best Practices Area in Puxi Expo site welcomed its 500,000th visitor on Saturday.
Cui Suyin, the lucky visitor from Jinan, Shandong Province, received a gift from staff. It was her third visit to the Expo site with her daughter. They hoped to visit Hangzhou next year.
The pentagonal pavilion with blue bricks that contain water collected from lakes and rivers has the theme "Harnessing Five Waters," involving Hangzhou's West Lake, the Qiantang River, canals, the Xixi Wetland and the East China Sea.
Visitors will be able to discover how water flows and the tide works when they step into the display.
