PARAGUAY celebrates its National Pavilion Day today and will showcase its unique culture through a series of music and dance performances and a special show featuring mime and harp.
The pavilion is in the Joint Pavilion of Central and South American Countries in Zone C.
Paraguay's central location in South America has led to it being referred to as Corazon de America - Heart of America.
The pavilion's theme is "Paraguay, Its Energy and Its People," and the pavilion provides a window to the landlocked country's culture, tourism, urban life, wildlife, and science and technology.
The main body of the pavilion is designed as an eye-catching stage with special lighting effects.
Visitors will be able to watch videos of life in Paraguay to gain an insight into the republic's distinctive culture.
